Notes:

Master tape of album prepared, using Dolby process, at 1750 Arch Studios, Berkeley, California

“The music on this album exhibits an exciting, wide-open, free-wheeling approach to the medium of electronic music which has come to be typical of this genre in the late 1970’s.
No longer are composers obsessively concerned with the agonizing, expressionistic, and purely “electronic” (synthesized) sound formulas which marked much of this music composed between the mid-Fifties and the late-Sixties. Instead, today we have composers willing to mix media and sonic materials in thoroughly inventive ways to achieve ends which are new-sounding, and often more engaging, than that of the “academic” avantgarde.”
(Excerpt of the sleeve notes by Charles Amirkhanian)

Fantastic place to visit. We live in Ft. Madison, Iowa. Our daughter and her boyfriend live in Longmont Colorado. When we visit our daughter, it’s always a must to stop in at the store. The people are super friendly and the records are top-notch. It is an absolute priority that I stop in the store when we visit our daughter. Always a great selection of records.

We were in the area on vacation and stopped in. When I first opened the door I knew this place was special. Recycled has one of the best selections of jazz and blues that I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been all over Chicago’s record stores. The prices may be a little high, but good luck finding the same item in better condition. Everything I pulled was in pristine condition and worth the asking price. I found some jazz and rock albums that I’ve been searching for, for YEARS. At checkout, they tossed in a free album by a local artist, which was a nice touch.

Always been huge into music and recently was forced into loving (and rediscovered my new love) for CD media. They have THE LARGEST used CD collection at great prices. I should have gone in sooner but I was always too meek, of course wondering if it was a niche place I would feel out of place in. But I felt very welcomed and the woman at the shop showed me ALL the uses CDs they have. I had to limit my spending today but will be back in another two weeks easily to round up and purchase another selection of CDs.

Wonderful experience: oodles of LPs(especially jazz); knowledgeable staff; enough space for parking. 5 of 5 in Longmont!

I love Recycled Records! They have a fantastic selection, and all of the used records are of great quality. I've been very happy with every purchase. The staff are also incredibly helpful in helping me find certain records or artists.
